We’ve had some great questions and comments on the Bruise Relief® blog this month so we’d like to take the time to address them individually.

How long does it take to see results from Bruise Relief?

Typically our customers report their bruises either never appear or are dramatically less severe on the first day of using Bruise Relief. We do recommend however that best results are achieved by using Bruise Relief right after impact, within the first hour of trauma to the skin. Many customers do report using Bruise Relief on an older bruise and have noticed those bruises heal faster.

Why is Arnica not in Bruise Relief? Is Arnica a bad thing?

Arnica is not in Bruise Relief because it was never in the original formula developed five generations ago. Arnica has been around for a long time. Our customers tell us they prefer taking fewer internal medications, particularly those people on blood thinners. Bruise Relief contains natural ingredients and is applied topically.

Where can I purchase Bruise Relief?

Bruise Relief is available at Walgreens nationwide. Look for us on their pharmacy counters in May and June. Bruise Relief is also available at Supervalu and Jewel-Osco drugstores, online at Target.com and Amazon.com. You may purchase Bruise Relief on our website or visit the Bruise Relief home page to see a complete listing of retailers currently carrying Bruise Relief gel and serum.

We’ll wrap things up with this great comment from a loyal customer:

I use Bruise Relief for Sclerotherapy Treatments (for spider veins.) I rub some on before leaving the doctor’s office and the bruising is usually reduced by 75-80%. As a matter of fact I just told a co-worker about your product this morning; how it works and where she can purchase it. I tell everyone about it, how it is basically a natural product, and very easy to use.

Keep those questions and comments coming in to the website. We love to hear from you!

A self-proclaimed Bruise Relief® skeptic and MD sent us this comment:

Sorry for being so skeptical re: Bruise Relief but your explanation does make ingenious sense. It is similar to what we see in “compartment syndrom ” or tamponade wherein one fluid or solution competes for and takes over a “space” not allowing the other. Your ingredients are competing for the intestitial space with the extravasated blood.

Here’s what that means for you Bruise Relief® lovers out there:

Compartment syndrome and tamponade are both terms that refer to the compression of blood vessels. Bruise Relief®, when applied shortly after trauma, is acting as the compressor that prevents blood and fluids from pooling and bruises from appearing.

When we experience trauma to the skin, whether from injury, surgery or other causes, blood and fluids are forced out into the surrounding tissue. This process causes bruising.

Bruise Relief® combats bruising in two ways. First, the ingredients in Bruise Relief® (Distilled water, Glycerin, Vitamin E Oil, Evening Primrose Oil and Carbomer) when applied shortly after impact or cosmetic procedure, are absorbed quickly into the skin and immediately begin preventing blood from filling in the impacted area. Second, Bruise Relief® will help prevent or lessen any further bleeding.

Instead of a bruise forming, the blood and fluids that cause bruising are reabsorbed into the skin effectively preventing or diminishing the appearance of a bruise.

See Bruise Relief really is ingenious!

A friend asks, “What can I do when I’ve just hit my ankle but I need to get dressed for work? How can I keep Bruise Relief® on the injury while I’m on the go? ”

Many times we injure ourselves as the result of being on the go, hurrying to make the bed or rushing to get to work. As we’ve said before, Bruise Relief® is most effective when applied shortly after impact. Here’s some advice for busy people:

First, keep Bruise Relief® handy so that when you’re injured, you can reach for relief.

Second, an easy way to use Bruise Relief® on the go is to apply to the injury and then cover with a gauze strip.

Using the gauze strip over Bruise Relief® will keep the gel or serum on the point of impact so its not wiped away by clothing or movement.

Keep those questions and comments coming!
