We attended Cosmetic Bootcamp recently in Colorado, meeting with doctors and skin care professionals from around the country. Dr. Mary Lupo presented the findings of her recent study including photographic evidence of Bruise Relief’s effectiveness.

Significant Reduction in Frequency, Severity and Duration of Bruising

These photos were taken 7 days after an in-office, single application of Bruise Relief serum on one side. A placebo was used on the other side. As you can see, the patients saw significant reduction in bruising and duration. In fact one-third of the patients had no bruising at all, but as Dr. Lupo put it, “It’s tough to photograph a non-event.”

The product used in this study is the Bruise Relief serum. Bruise Relief serum is a highly-concentrated version of the original formula and very effective in treating bruising that commonly results from cosmetic injections including Botox, Juvederm and Restylane.

Obviously the goal of these procedures is give the appearance of firmer, younger-looking skin. But we believe it’s just as important to patients that these procedures remain a secret. After all, what’s the point if everyone knows what you’re doing?

Stop hiding post-procedural bruises behind heavy make-up. Start looking younger right away. Use Bruise Relief post-procedure and you’ll see the difference.

When we started Bruise Relief ™, we knew we had an effective product because we’d been using it in our family for five generations. Still taking a product from family recipe to the aisles of CVS is a major undertaking that involves a whole lot of work including product testing. Now that we’re here, we couldn’t be prouder of the products and the overwhelmingly positive response we’re getting from people using Bruise Relief gel and serum.

May is off to a terrific start, as we announce the results just in from a study conducted by a leading skin care expert. In addition to virtually eliminating ordinary bruises and reducing dark circles under the eyes, this new study finds Bruise Relief also works on the most common treatment-related complication from cosmetic filler injections which is bruising.

Dr Mary Lupo has been at the forefront of non-surgical skin rejuvenation since 1983. She put our Bruise Relief serum to the test in a double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical study. According to the study, “65 percent of the patients who experienced bruising after filler injection procedures saw a reduction in the severity and duration of bruising with a single post-procedural application of Bruise Relief™ serum versus a placebo. The product was found to reduce the appearance of bruising with no reported side effects.”

When we asked Dr. Lupo for a photo of a subject in the study, she said, “It’s hard to take a picture of a non-event.” And that’s what Bruise Relief is all about, preventing the bruise before it happens or lessening a bruise you already have.

Study Findings Confirm Glycerin Accelerates the Healing Process in Damaged Tissue and Cells

Today, a leading expert in the field of non-surgical skin rejuvenation announced results from a study demonstrating that glycerin helps to speed up the healing process of damaged tissue and cells, resulting in less bruising and skin discoloration.

In a double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical study of a glycerin-based bruise-reaction product, 65 percent of the patients who experienced bruising after filler injection procedures saw a reduction in the severity and duration of bruising with a single post-procedural application of Bruise Relief™ serum versus a placebo. The product was found to reduce the appearance of bruising with no reported side effects.

“Glycerin, as an active ingredient in Bruise Relief™, helps with the rejuvenation process of the skin,” said Dr. Mary P. Lupo, dermatologist and non-surgical skin rejuvenation expert. “The most common treatment-related complication from filler injections is bruising. I have seen a significant decrease in bruising after treatments with an application of Bruise Relief™. Post-procedural Botox and leg vein injections (sclerotherapy) may also benefit from this single post-procedural application.”

Glycerin, a humectant, attracts water and helps lubricate and hydrate the skin’s cells. It is a thick, water-soluble liquid. Bruises occur when capillary blood vessels break and blood and fluids pool underneath the skin. Glycerin’s hydrating properties enable the body to seal off the broken capillaries and blood vessels caused by trauma to the skin and help prevent the pooling of blood and fluids.

Bruise Relief™, available in a gel or serum formulation, also contains vitamins, nutrients and anti-oxidants and is non-toxic and safe for all ages and skin types. Bruise Relief gel is available nationwide at all CVS stores as well as at Jewel/Osco, Albertsons, Acme, Shaw’s and other fine pharmacies across the country.

“Bruise Relief™ has been in my family for nearly five generations,” said Barbara Cranner, executive vice president of Dr. Holmquist Healthcare, LLC. We developed the product for the mass market with my stepfather, Dr. Nelson Holmquist, and we are thrilled to share an old family recipe with the world.”
